Yerba started with a simple idea: make yerba maté easier to discover, prepare and enjoy in the UAE without losing what makes the ritual special.
What began as a love for the drink became a homegrown brand built around good maté, thoughtfully designed gear and a more approachable way into a centuries-old ritual.

Yerba Maté has been enjoyed for generations, but discovering it in the UAE was not always straightforward. The products were there, somewhere, but the experience around them often wasn’t.
So we built Yerba.
We started with the essentials: high-quality organic yerba maté, a gourd, a bombilla and a thermos. Then we worked on making each part of the experience simpler, more considered and more at home in everyday life here.
Our maté is small-cut, organic and selected for a clean, balanced drinking experience. Our accessories take inspiration from the traditional ritual but are designed with a contemporary lifestyle in mind. Stainless steel, simple forms, easy preparation and products you will actually want to use every day.
Yerba officially soft-launched in the UAE in 2024. Since then, the goal has stayed the same: introduce more people to yerba maté and give those who already love it a brand that feels closer to home.We are not trying to reinvent maté.

At the centre of everything is the leaf. We focus on high-quality organic yerba maté with the taste, cut and character we want to drink ourselves. No need to disguise it with unnecessary flavours or gimmicks.
Tradition, made practical
The gourd, bombilla and thermos are part of what makes maté maté. We keep the ritual, while designing the experience to fit modern homes, offices, road trips, beach days and everything in between
Everyone is welcome
Maté has always been social. You do not need to know the rules, pronounce everything perfectly or have grown up drinking it. If you are curious, there is a place for you.
